Changes to Alfred
And what this means going forward...
Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well.
Thank you for following me so far on this journey.
Publishing under the pseudonym ‘Alfred’ has allowed me to experience the freedom to talk without restraint. My ‘I Spent 2000 Hours Learning to Learn’ series on Medium was quite well received, and I hope you know I appreciate everyone who took the time to give it a read.
However, while being popular, this series had one thing missing - a personal perspective.
Publishing under a pseudonym restrained me to keeping personal details out of my stories, leaving some of my best insights invisible.
As a result, I have decided to rebrand ‘Alfred’ to ‘Shiv’ - closer to the name I was given at birth.
This will allow me to bring more of my personal experiences into the conversation.
I hope to start to explore new areas- What projects have I been working on? What questions need to be asked about the world that haven’t been? And, what can the answers to these questions tell us about who we really are?
I know this change will allow me to bring more of a personal and applicable aspect to my writing, changing its structure and increasing the influence it has for impact and conversation.
And, most importantly, I’m looking forward to going on this journey with you.
I can’t wait.
